Chocolate Easter Eggs Making

what do pit in chocolated that keeps it hard?
I am making chocolate easter eggs and I am using hersheys semi sweet chocolate chips and it melts if they are not in the refrigerator. How do I keep them from melting?
Add food grade paraffin wax. You can find it in the canning aisle of your local grocery store. I’d start with half a square to one square and see how that works. I use 1.5 squares when making the chocolate coating for buckeyes, and that seems to work pretty well for me, but it’s a pretty big recipe.
